Spring Flowers

I was at Spring Flowers Shop along Magallanes Street today, in preparation for the Elbanbuena - Solito Nuptials tomorrow. I was impressed with the fresh flowers and nice arrangements that they have prepared. Everything was pink, as the bride requested. There were of course hints of red and green, but almost everything around me were pink flowers in diferent shades and kinds.

Marco Polo Hotel's Bridal Fair 2008

Brides, wedding planners, wedding coordinators, and other suppliers, are invited to attend Marco Polo Hotel Davao Bridal Fair 2008. It opened today, July 31, and will be open to the public until August 2, from 6 am - 10 pm.

Today, Noel Tanza of Golden Touch gave a styling demo. Too bad, I missed it though. Tomorrow, there will be a bridal make up competition, and on August 2, there will be a fashion show.

Decadent cake displays were showcased by All About Cakes, Tsokolate, Cake Creations, and Goldilocks. Not to be outdone were the delicious-looking candles by Candle Delight.

Kasuotan displayed four eye-catching avant garde bridal gowns. There is also a make up demonstration and trial booth by Knots Forever, and a gown display by Egay Ayag.

Also present are studios exhibiting their creative photos and videos: Lito Sy, New Jersy Studio, Roland Jumawan, and Simply Gray.

Although there are not a lot of exhibitors, every soon-to-be bride must take a peek at the various creations of the suppliers and exhibitors. Who knows the key to your perfect wedding might be there. ;)



The Bridal Fair is at the Marco Polo Hotel's Ballrooms 1 and 2. Marco Polo Hotel is located along CM Recto Avenue in Davao City.

Davao Bloggers Party 2008 Post-Party Post

The Davao Bloggers Party 2008 was held last June 14, 2008 at the Toto's Bar of Casa Leticia. More than 20 bloggers attended and enjoyed the feast prepared by Toto's Bar and sponsors Lachi's and Sugar Munch. Digital Interface also donated some chocolates which kept everybody munching.

Sponsors Blinque, DotA Strategy.com, and Globe Telecom also raffled some prizes. Nobody went home empty-handed.

Sponsor Lane Systems provided the hardware for the various parts and presentations during the program. All attendees were able to promote their blogs and their other online and even offline activities and rakets. All these while DJ Kim took charge of the music.

Pelikula Dabaw and the Davao Readers' Circle invited everyone to join their events. While Avatar Media explained its plans, and invited bloggers to attend WordCamp Philippines and join the AdBender Network.



The party was organized by Avatar Media and coordinated by EventsbyRia.com. Avatar Media is composed of Ria, Blogie, Andrew, Migs, and Winston.
