Wedding invitations and announcements are sometimes designed with photos of the couple in matching clothes, frolicking somewhere being all sweet and malambing to each other. And during the wedding itself, more pictures are shown sometimes in tarpaulin form decked outside or inside the venue. And even more photos are shown in the giant screen for everyone to see.
These are not the couple's stock photos. After all, what kind of couple brings a photographer to their romantic dates?
Most photographers and studios include a Pre-Nuptial Shoot as part of their wedding photography package. Here in Davao City, the most popular venues for Pre-Nuptial Shoots are Chema's Resort and Pearl Farm Beach Resort in Samal Island, Eden Nature Park, and Loleng's Garden Resort.
Tomorrow, I am going to a secret, private location somewhere in the boondocks to assist in my client's Pre-Nuptial Photo Shoot with photographer Roy Oliveros. Aside from the couple and I, the best man will also be on hand to assist, as well as the bride's make-up artist and hair stylist, Maru.
Most couples wear matching white outfits to their Pre-Nuptial Shoot. I find that quite boring and common, so I asked the couple to bring lots of clothing options, mostly plain bright and pastel shirts and tops in matching colors. Since it is an outdoor, mountain setting, I advised the groom against wearing collared shirts that would look too formal or out of place.
I am also hoping for a sunny day. :)
