Brian Dexter M. Medija shares his experience as a guest at a beach wedding held at the Malipano Island of Pearl Farm Beach Resort...

The first beach wedding I attended took place on Saturday, May 25, 2008, at the breathtaking Isla Malipano, a short boat ride from The Pearl Farm Resort. Isla Malipano is the “luxury island” of The Pearl Farm, housing the resort’s luxurious villas, and is a 10-minute boat ride from the Pearl Farm “mainland” on Samal Island.
I have been to the Malipano Island before as an overnight guest, and I can personally attest that it gives you a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Brian's account tells me that it is a great beach wedding venue for both the ceremony and reception. The wedding Brian attended seemed to have the right combination of relaxed beach mood and formal solemn wedding rites.

For couples who have the budget and want to have a nice secluded, beach wedding, I recommend the Malipano Island as a venue. Not only is it a beautiful location, it seems like the Pearl Farm management knows how to host a memorable wedding...

My first beach wedding was made for the movies, and that lasting impression etched on me as a sort of standard that all beach weddings after it will have to measure up against. This one would be tough to beat.

The Malipano Island is part of the exquisite Pearl Farm Beach Resort in the Island Garden City of Samal, a 40-minute boat ride from Davao City.
